Software people who actually run software.
ENCINC is a software development and solutions consulting firm. We design custom applications, integrate third-party platforms, and operate critical systems — for businesses that depend on software but don’t want to staff a full engineering team.
Five principles that guide every engagement
Consistent messaging
What a system promises in the UI is what it does in the database. We treat consistency as a feature, not a polish step.
Goal-oriented design
Every screen, table, and API endpoint exists to advance a business outcome. If we can’t name the outcome, the feature doesn’t ship.
Pragmatic engineering
The simplest stack that solves the problem. We’ve shipped PHP, Python, JS, and shell scripts — whatever fits.
Measurable results
If we can’t put a number on the improvement — latency, throughput, conversion, support tickets — we haven’t finished the work.
Sustainable success
We don’t hand off and disappear. We run the systems we build or hand them to your team with a written runbook.
How an engagement actually runs
No deck-driven discovery, no week-long status meetings. We dig into the actual system — database, logs, existing code — and start shipping in days, not months.
Initial research
We start by understanding what the system actually does today. Database schema, code structure, deploy story, who uses it and how. We come back with a written assessment and a recommended sequence of work — not a sales pitch.
Design & scope
For each piece of work we propose, you get a concrete plan: what files change, what the API looks like, what the rollout sequence is, and what the rollback plan is if something breaks. No black boxes.
Iterate in the open
We ship in small increments to a preview URL or a staging environment. You see the actual page, the actual screen, the actual SQL — not a status report on Friday.
Production cutover
We promote behind backups, smoke-test the customer-facing flows, and validate the change with logs and live HTTP checks. If something looks wrong we revert before you ever notice.
Operate & document
We keep the systems we build running — monitoring, patching, capacity, certificates — or we hand them off to your team with a written runbook. Either way nothing falls into a vacuum.
